I believe when our voices and stories are heard we gain strength. I am the 1 in 8.

I have walked the path of the fertility journey and encountered the challenges it brings. I know on a personal level the unpredictability of this journey. I believe our voices need to be heard and when that is possible it generates a strength in each of us. Community and togetherness bring each of us the courage needed to take each step on the path this journey places ahead of us. It is important that we share our stories. Like some of you reading this I have walked the same path you are on now. When I met my husband, we both knew we wanted a family. After struggling with loss, we discovered that we would need to rely on science and hope to grow our family. We were told that IVF was the best option and we trekked forward. After many years we were able to grow our family and we now have two girls just about 21 months apart with the support of our community.

Not one story is alike in this journey as there are so many unforeseeable detours this path creates. I believe that we are stronger together especially when we are able to share our story and have a space where our voices are heard and our experiences are validated. I am honored to be on this journey with you. I have immense gratitude for your courage to be vulnerable throughout this process. I believe that having your voice heard is not only extremely valuable but also a huge leap of faith. I am the 1 in 8 and I will stand by you to support you through this process to whatever outcome it lends.
